2009年～2019年に南米大陸を拠点に開催されたダカール・ラリー
ダカール・ラリーとは、砂漠や悪路などを1万kmも走破する「世界一過酷なモータースポーツ競技」と呼ばれているスポーツ
そのコースの一つがウユニだったそうです
その名残の塩のモニュメントや参加国の国旗がはためいています
ここでの滑走は晴れていれば気持ちいいだろうなぁと思う反面、標高といい、水が入っていたりすれば過酷だろうなぁと想いを馳せつつ
その横には、ウユニ名物の旧塩のホテルがありました
今は、ツアーのランチ場所兼シャワーやトイレを借りる場所になっているようです

This is 'UYUNI Salt Flat' in Bolivia at 11,995 feet (3,656 metres) above sea level. In the rainy season between Nov and Mar, there happens to be covered with water lightly like a mirrored lake.
I had joined another tour like 2N3D UYUNI expedition with German and Mexican guys as soon as I came back from UYUNI starlight & sunrise tour.
This is the DAKAR Rully monument in UYUNI made from salt, which is well-known as the toughest off-road endurance vehicle's event in the world since 1978 and from 2009 to 2019 were held in South America inculding the course of UYUNI salt lake. Thre are a lot of participating national flags including our Japan. And there is built the pre-salt hotel next to the flags as the rest house for meal or taking shower, using bathroom nowadays.
