Jōnangū shrine, Kyoto prefecture, Japan ずっと気になっていたしだれ梅と椿の宮で有名な京都の「城南宮」 あいにく、しだれ梅とのコラボは2月で終了していましたが、 季節に応じた椿が植えられているおかげで 4月でも苔庭に落ちた赤い椿の風雅で風流な光景が楽しめました いや、ほんとに想像以上に美しい庭園で個人的に大満足です しだれ梅のシーズンが終わったからか この桜でどこも混雑する時期にかなり空いていて穴場でした Photo on April 6th 2024 Jōnangū is one of the most famous shrine in Kyoto, located in the southern Kyoto, particularly famous for the picturesque combination with its weeping plum blossoms and red camellia on the moss ground in late winter and early spring. That combination has been over in late Feb this year, but I was very satisfied without the weeping plum blossoms when I visited on Apr. It is also home to hundreds of freely roaming deer. This is called "Ukimido hat" in the small pond located in the southern Nara park. The cherry blossom has just been in full bloom when I visited on Apr 7th in the early morning around 5am. Of course there are a lot of deer. Fuji for foreigners in Japan, located in Fujiyoshida city, Yamanashi prefecture. You can see a beautiful Mt. Fuji with five-story pagoda, and sakura(cherry blossom) in spring as well as autumn leaves in fall. When I visited at the end of March, the cherry blossom has never bloomed any single sakura. Kurotakiyama Fudo-ji temple, Nanmoku village, Gunma prefecture, Japan 群馬県南牧村にある山寺「黒瀧山不動寺」 過疎化が進む限界集落の一つ、南牧村の深い山間に位置するパワースポット 1枚目は境内外に置かれた鐘楼で、 もとの梵鐘は第二次大戦下で供出され失われたものの 戦後まもなく有志によって復興 現在の梵鐘は世界平和の願いを込めて、戦艦陸奥（むつ）の羅針盤を合鋳しているそうです 2枚目は不動明王像が祀られた「竜神の滝」 裏側から回り込める裏見の滝で、岩の上から清々しいミストが降り注いでいました 3枚目は不動堂 ここからの眺めが紅葉のフォトスポット 秋に再訪してみたいですが とにかくここも道が険しすぎて、運転がちょっと怖いです Photo on Feb 17th 2024 Kurotakiyama Fudo-ji temple is located in Nanmoku-mura village, the southern Gunma prefecture, Japan. This village is one of the most serious village suffering from depopulation in Japan. But this temple is known to those in the know as a spritual spot and the place to must-see an autumn leaves in fall. In the 1st photo, the temple bell of Fudoji was partly founded by using the material of Japanese battleship Mutsu's compass in the WWⅡ, praying for the peace in the world.
