The great wisteria trellis is said to be living for 400 years over and would be commonly in full bloom between the end of April and beginning of May, we say 'Golden Week Holidays'. However the blooming was about 1week earlier than usual this year. This shrine is a very small and less-known place to see the wisteria except local people. I believe this beauty is equal to Ashikaga Flower park in Tochigi prefecture, where is the most famous and biggest wisteria garden in Japan. The Giant Koinobori (Japanese Carp Streamers) , Kazo city, Saitama pref, Japan. 所変わって、埼玉県加須市（かぞし） 毎年恒例5月3日は加須市民平和祭 この日は、世界最大全長100m、重さ約330kgのジャンボこいのぼりが空を泳ぎます！ ただ、このコロナ禍で2020年、2021年と2年連続中止となり、今年2022年は3年ぶり待望の遊泳！ 利根川河川敷には待ちわびた大勢の観光客であふれていました 重量が330kgもあるのである程度の風がないと風が強すぎても弱すぎてもだめ、という難しいコンディションの中で、今年は見事に舞ってくれました ちなみに、平和祈念際なのでウクライナの国旗も一緒に泳いでいます （下の小さいこいのぼりは全長10mはあります） ちょっと感動しました Photo on May 3 2022⁠ Koinobori, which is a Japanese capr streamer, is one of the Japanese traditional celebration for making a wish for the success and advancement for children on May 5th. Most of families will hang on Koinobori streamers on the roof or the higher place at home. But this streamer is super gigant Koinobori such a big size with 100m long and 330kg(See No.3 photo). Kazo city in Saitama is well-known as a history of traditonal Koinobori. On May 3rd every year, the gigant Koinobori is supposed to make it swim in the sky by a crane in Kazo civil's festival for peace. Actually the festival both in 2020 and 2021 were canceled because of COVID-19 pandemic.
