Japanese red-crown cranes, Otowa-bashi bridge, Tsurui village, Kushiro, Hokkaido, Japan.

The Tsurui-mura village in Kushiro, Hokkaido, is well-known as the winter home of Japanese red-crown cranes('Tanchou' in Japanese). And Setsuri river in the beneath of Otowabashi bridge is the roosting place for cranes in winter. In fact, the dawn in the early winter morning is the best time to come because of an amazing view with orange sunrise and frost smoke, so dozens of photographers from both home and abroad are waiting for that morment on the bridge from the dawn.
Actually this photo was around 9 in the morning. I shooted the morment that a group of cranes were flying to the feeding spot of Tsuruimura village.
