A sunken village, Setouchi city, Okayama prefecture, Japan 岡山県瀬戸内市牛窓（うしまど）地区にある「水没ペンション村（正式名称は「鹿忍グリーンファーム」）」 東京ドーム約4個分の広さに、 かつてゴルフ場やテニスコート、運動場、そしてコテージが立ち並ぶ一大リゾート地だったそうですが、 業績悪化によりそのままの状態で放棄 運が悪いことに、もともと塩田だったこの地は、海面より低く作られていたことから次第に海水が流れ込み、水没してしまったとか 車まで無残に水没した状態で放置されていました 廃墟ブームに乗って最近SNSで話題になっていたのですが、 訪れたこの日はあいにくの雨で、リフレクションが見られませんでした…残念 何というか、とにかくふしぎな光景です Photo on Feb 22nd 2024 This is a sunken (lodge) village, located in Ushimado area of Setouchi city, Okayama prefecture, where used to be kind of a resort including a golf course, a tennis cort, a play ground and a resort inn. But the owner went bankrupt by a drop in performance of a company and left all the buildings for many years. And unfortunately here used to be a salt farm before a resort, so it had gradually flooded all over the village. Now it's getting popular for abandoned buildings' enthusiasts through SNS. When I visited, it was rainny unfortunately. I wanted to see a reflaction of the lodges.
