埼玉県吉見町にある「吉見百穴（よしみひゃくあな）」
正面から見ると、ますます小人の村みたい
かつては、村人たちは本当に小人が住んでいたと信じていたそうです
固く閉ざされた扉の石蓋を取り除いたら副葬品がたくさん出てきて、古墳時代の横穴墓だと分かったとか
でも不思議なことに副葬品は出てきても人骨が一切出てないそうです
考古学者の説では、吉見百穴の凝灰岩の性質上、骨が溶けてしまっても理論上はおかしくない（けど普通じゃない）だそう
ミステリーですねぇ
で、副葬品のほとんどは東大研究室が保管して放置されているそうですヨ

Yoshimi Hyakuana (A hundreds of Caves, 'hyaku' means 'hundred' and 'ana' means 'hole' in Japanese) is a horizontal hole tomb built at the end of the Kofun period (late 6th to late 7th century) on the rock mountain, and was designated as a national historic site in 1918.
According to the owner of Yoshimi Haykuana(actually this is a private mountain), people used to believe that dwarfs had lived in the cave in ancient times. In fact, it had found bunch of grave goods when the researcher surveyed it, but there was no found ancient human skeleton in the tumb. It's super mystery.
