佐賀県の名勝「御船山楽園」
ツツジ谷で有名な当園ですが、
手前側の早咲きのクルメツツジは見頃を過ぎ、
山側のヒラドツツジのみ、鮮やかに咲き誇っていました…
今年のピークは20日前後だったようです、惜しい
またいつかリベンジします！

Mifuneyama Rakuen (Mt. Mifune garden) is one of the most famous Japanese garden in Kyushu region, located in Takeo city, Saga prefecture, Japan, is also well-known as the flower garden in the four seasons, like cherry blossoms, azaleas, wisteria, fall foliage and snow in winter. In spring, we have fun seeing like a carpet of pink and white flowers by 200,000 azaleas at the bowl-shaped azalea valley in front of Mt. Mifune.
Unfortunately the peak of blooming Kurume azeleas, which is most of azaleas blooming in the garden, was almost over when I visited on May 1st. The peak was around April 20 this year. On the other hand, Hirado azaleas was in the peak for blooming in the middle of Mt. Mifune. Otherwise, wisteria was in full bloom as well. I hope I'll come back to see the peak of azaleas next year.
