Nikko-Kisuge(Broad dwarf day lily) field, Kurumayama-kogen Highlands, Nagano Prefecture, Japan こちらは、車山高原側の「車山肩 ニッコウキスゲ群生地」 霧ヶ峰富士見台から徒歩20分ぐらいのところで 車山高原トレッキングコースの登山口でもあります 駐車場からもすぐで トレッキング客も含めて、たくさんの観光客が訪れていました こちらは群生地一帯にロープが張り巡らされていて どうしてもロープが入ってしまうのが残念でした （今回はロープは微妙に加工修正してます） それにしても素晴らしいニッコウキスゲでした！ あ、4枚目は八ヶ岳高原珈琲牛乳です 美味しかった〜 Photo on July 8th 2024 Kurumayama-kata Nikko-kisuge(Broad dwarf day lily) flower field in Kurumayama highlands, Nagano prefecture, Japan. located about 20 minutes walk away from Kirigamine Fujimidai observatory. This is also the best time to see Nikko-Kisuge in full bloom. It was super amazing! Kurumayama-kata parking lots is at 1802m above sea level. This is a gate to go hiking to Mt. Kurumayama with 1952m above sea level as well. Nikko-Kisuge(Broad dwarf day lily) field, from Kirigamine Fujimidai observatory, Kurumayama-kogen Highlands, Nagano Prefecture, Japan 長野県車山高原の霧ヶ峰富士見台にて 今年のニッコウキスゲは20年に一度の当たり年だそうですね！ はじめて訪れたのが当たり年とは超ラッキーでした！ 早朝到着時は曇天でしたが、 午後まで粘ったら晴れ間も見えて、最高の散策日和となりました "富士見台"という言葉通り、 ここからはニッコウキスゲ越しに富士山が見えます！（画像4枚目） Photo on July 8th 2024 Kirigamine highlands filled with Nikko-kisuge(Broad dwarf day lily) flower field, located next to Kurumayama highlands, Nagano prefecture, Japan. It's best time to see Nikko-Kisuge in full bloom between late June and mid July. According to local people, Nikko-kisuge blossoms this year has been the best to bloom for last 20 years. It was perfctly awesome views! These views are from Kirigamine-Fujimidai observatory. Fujimidai means the best spot to look out Mt. Fuji in Japanese, which is the iconic mountain of Japan. Men-no-Ishi stone Trekking, southern Aso village, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan 「免の石（招き猫洞窟）」へのトレッキングルートで見かけた景色 樹齢200年の大カエデの木（画像1枚目） 猫洞窟近くの展望台から一望した阿蘇五岳（画像2枚目） そして3枚目は、熊本地震で崩落した「免の石」です 崩落する前までは「落ちない石」として信じられていたのですが 崩落以後、今度は「何かに”落ちたくない”人たちの身代わり」になった「身代わり石」として親しまれているそうです タテ3m、横幅2m、石回り約6mと想像以上にデカかったです Photo on June 19th 2024 During the Men-no-ishi trekking, I saw a lot of beautiful nature in the mountain. In 1st photo, there is a huge maple tree living for over 200 years. In 2nd photo, it's a panoramic view of Aso Gogaku mountains from the obsavatory near the welcoming cat-cave. In 3rd photo, that's "Men-no-ishi stone" as I said that its stone used to place on the cave above, which collapesed by Kumamoto earthquake in 2017, sized about 3 meters tall and 2 meters wide. The stone used to be worshiped kind of a god for good luck because people had believed that it would have never fallen. Welcoming cat cave in former Men-no-Ishi stone, southern Aso area, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan そしてこれが、 かつて「免の石」と崇められた挟み岩があった洞窟 熊本大地震で免の石が崩落し 現れたのが猫神様ならぬ、猫のかたちをした「招き猫洞窟」！ 2枚目は、「鳥の小塚公園」の展望所から見える洞窟です 外から見るとただの洞窟なんですが 内側から見ると、見てびっくり、確かに猫なんですよ！ 片道は40分程度なんですけど 渡渉があったり勾配キツイ岩場や階段が多々あるので きちんとした装備で行った方がいいですよ Photo on June 19th 2024 Can you see a cat-shaped silhouette in the cave? This cave used to be a place to get stuck a huge stone called "Men-no-ishi" in the middle by a vertical narrow gap on the mountain in front of Tori-no-kozuka park that I posted. The cat-shaped cave, going by the name "Welcoming cat cave", miraculously appeared after Kumamoto earthquakes happened in 2016 and collapsed down the Men-no-ishi stone. Now it's getting popular as a new touristic spot, but you have to trek up to the cave for at least 40 minutes one way if you want to see. Tori-No-Kozuka PARK, southern Aso area, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan 南阿蘇の一角にある「鳥の小塚公園」 古墳のような小高い丘の上に鳥居があり その展望台からは南阿蘇と阿蘇五岳を一望できます 道を挟んで、公園の目の前にそびえる裏山には 古くから「免（めん）の岩」と呼ばれる 古くから”何をしても決して落ちない”として崇拝された挟み岩が存在し その免の石を遥拝できる展望所でもあります ただし、その免の石は、先の熊本大地震でいよいよ崩落してしまったそうで 今は空洞になっています Photo on June 19th 2024 Tori-no-kozuka Park is situated in Minami-Aso village, Kumamoto prefecture, where is built the Torii gate on the hill like a shrine as well as like the observatory to see a panoramic view of the southern Aso landscape with Mt. Ougi Tanada（Fan-like rice terrace）,Ubuyama village, Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan 熊本県阿蘇外輪山の草原の一角に位置し 「全国棚田百選」にも選ばれた産山村の「扇棚田」 その名の通り、標高高い斜面に扇状に開墾された棚田です 本来晴れていれば彼方に阿蘇山、九重山、祖母山が見えて さらに水張の季節は逆さ九重山などとともに楽しめるそうですが あいにくの雨でガスってました…泣 ここに来るまでかなり狭い道で 対向車が来ないかとドキドキ冷や冷や しかし、周りには放牧された牛さんらがのどかに草を食んでいて 実に牧歌的な風景でした Photo on June 18th 2024 Ougi-Tanada( Fan-like Rice Terrace) is selected as one of the "Japan 100 beautiful rice paddies", located in Ubuyama village, around the Aso somma mountains, Kumamoto prefecture. Actually it's cleared paddies such a remote area away from the village, where is a little bit hard to get by car because of a lot of narrow roads. When it is sunny, you could see the 3 largest mountains like Mt. Aso-san, Mt. Kuju-zan and Mt. I was very happy to see unexpectedly such a stunning view because I would have climbed up to the mountains if it was sunny from the early morning.
