ブラジルの秘境「レンソイス・マラニャンセス」
レンソイスとはポルトガル語で「シーツ」のこと
要するにマラニャン地方の白いシーツのような砂漠、という意味らしい
衛星写真でも写るほど広大な白の砂漠に、雨季になるとオアシスが出現します
しかも、なぜかそのオアシスには魚が泳いでるんです
乾季は消えるオアシスなのになぜ魚が現れるかは未だ本当のところが解明されないミステリーとなってます
遊覧セスナで上空から見た景観が有名なのですが、
このとき時間がなくて乗れず…泣
なのでいつかリベンジしたスポットの一つ
しかし、ここは強風吹き荒れる場所で、しかも石英が細かく砕かれた白砂のため、デジカメやスマホなどの精密機械は防塵対策していないと確実に壊れるという、カメラマン泣かせのスポットでもあります

Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses) is located in Maranhão state in northeastern Brazil. During the rainy season, the valleys among the dunes would fill with freshwater lagoons like Oasis, prevented from draining due to the impermeable rock beneath. To be surprised, a lot of fishes would appear in the lagoons during thee rainy season, the mystery of the fish appearance has not be solved yet.
The pristine white sands dune come from finely crushed quartz, so this is absolutely a quite dangerous site for photographers or people because their own digital cameras and smartphones might be easy to be broken by sands with heavier wind.
