中東イエメン領に属する、インド洋に浮かぶ絶海の孤島「ソコトラ島」
現代文明から取り残されたような奇怪な島は、世界遺産の島でもあります
そしてこの島は、わたしが89ヵ国旅した絶景史上3指に入る秘境スポット
そのソコトラ島随一の絶景の一つ、「デトワ・ラグーン」
純白過ぎるホワイトサンドバーに、目が覚めるほどのターコイズブルーの海
この世のものとは思えない景色でした
文字通り、言葉を失い、立ち尽くしました…

The Detwah Lagoon is one of the most amazing scenic site in Socotra island, where is an island of the Republic of Yemen in the Indian Ocean and recognized as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are pristine white sands bar with turquoise blue lagoon. It was my first time to see a lot of Herons and Socotra yellowish crabs living by the seaside. (In Japan, usually they are living in the rice paddy or forest)
Anyway, It’s so breathtaking that I have no words!
