This is Quinua plantation in the village named San Juan del Rosario near UYUNI salt flat. Quinua is getting popular for the Superfoods(super-rich-foods) contained protein, dietary fiber, B vitamins and dietary minerals in amounts greater than in many grains and has been selected as an experimental crop in NASA's Controlled Ecological Life Support System for long-duration human occupied space flights. The color of Quinua plant is red, yellow and green like a Bolivian national flag. On the 2nd photo, the German student guys took a photo with its flag. The Dakar Rally monument in Uyuni Salt Flat, UYUNI, Bolivia ⁠ 2009年～2019年に南米大陸を拠点に開催されたダカール・ラリー ダカール・ラリーとは、砂漠や悪路などを1万kmも走破する「世界一過酷なモータースポーツ競技」と呼ばれているスポーツ そのコースの一つがウユニだったそうです その名残の塩のモニュメントや参加国の国旗がはためいています ここでの滑走は晴れていれば気持ちいいだろうなぁと思う反面、標高といい、水が入っていたりすれば過酷だろうなぁと想いを馳せつつ その横には、ウユニ名物の旧塩のホテルがありました 今は、ツアーのランチ場所兼シャワーやトイレを借りる場所になっているようです photo on 27th Feb 20223 ⁠ This is 'UYUNI Salt Flat' in Bolivia at 11,995 feet (3,656 metres) above sea level.
