This can generally be seen only 1 month like from mid-April to mid-May, when the water level in the lake increases. This is the landscape of Shirakawa lake with Mt. Iide capped snow, sometimes called 'Tohoku Alps', from a hill overlooking the lake, at around 6:30 in the morning. The morning mosit had gone already at that time. There are the submerged forest lakeside as you see. But unfortunately I could not catch the morning mist view at that time around 7 o'clock in the morning. The morning mist had gone already. So this photos are the view of the lake at around 7:00-7:30 in the morning. Nasu Heartful Farm, Nasu town, Tochigi pref, Japan 「那須ハートフルファーム」の500尾のこいのぼり この日は小雨ちらつく曇天でずっとどんよりだったのですが、 菜の花畑の中に設置された展望台から眺めていたら あるときふと空が開けて光芒が差し込みました 何だかとても神々しく見とれてしまった あいにく、写真では光芒がうまく映り込めなかったですが… photo on May 12 2023 ⁠ This is 'Koinobori' in Nasu Heartful Farm, Nasu town, Tochigi prefecture, Japan, which means 'carp streamer' like carp-shaped windsocks traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate 'Tango no sekku', mean a traditional calendrical event and the designated national holday called Children's Day. There were flowing 500 pieces of 'Koinobori' and special flags named children in the sky, donated unwanted those lying around the house by local people after their children grew up, decorated in full of canola flower field in spring. It was cloudy and a little bit rainy at that time. But a beam of light made it's way through the tick clouds when I looked at Koinobori from the scenic overlook in the canola field. Tamashiki Shrine, Kazo city, Saitama pref, Japan ほぼ毎年訪れる埼玉加須市（かぞし）の「玉敷神社」 毎年GW近くは藤のシーズン とはいえ、今年は例にもれず、開花が早まりGW前には満開を迎えていました 当神社の見どころは樹齢400年を超える大藤棚 あしかがフラワーパークの大藤も見事ですが、 こちらも負けていないほど、それはそれは美しいです しかも入場無料 日中は車で混雑しますが、早朝は人も少なくゆったり鑑賞できます 今年はひさびさに騎西藤まつりが開催されたようです とにかく藤の香りがとっても品が良く気持ちよいのです photo on April 27 2023 ⁠ This is the wisteria garden in Tamashiki Shrine, Kazo-shi city, Saitama prefecture, Japan. The great wisteria trellis is said to be living for 400 years over and would be commonly in full bloom between the end of April and beginning of May, we say 'Golden Week Holidays'. However the blooming was about 1week earlier than usual this year. This shrine is a very small and less-known place to see the wisteria except local people. I believe this beauty is equal to Ashikaga Flower park in Tochigi prefecture, where is the most famous and biggest wisteria garden in Japan. Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu city, Saitama pref, Japan 関東最大級といわれる埼玉奥秩父のパワースポット「三峯神社」 南米から帰国してようやく落ち着いたので参拝してきました 神社がクローズアップされがちなので実はあまり知られてない気がしますが、 実はしゃくなげの花の名所でもありました お恥ずかしながら、毎年訪れているわたしも今回はじめて知りました・汗 奥宮（妙法が岳）へ登拝した際にようやく気づいたという… 素通りするにはもったいないぐらい、可憐で美しい花畑でした ちなみに、茅葺屋根の邸宅は「三峯神領民家（みつみねしんりょうみんか）」という、三峯神社を崇敬する地域住民の古民家を文化財として移築したものだそうです photo on April 21st 2023 ⁠ Mitsumine Shrine is well-known as the one of the most sacred shrine like a vortex in Kanto region of Japan, located in deep Chichibu, Saitama prefecture. In addition, I think that this would be less-known that Mitsumine shrine is one of the best place to see Rosebay flowers as well. Even though I've been to this shrine many times so far, but it was first time to know and see such a beautiful rosebay garden in spring around the old folk house as a cultural treasure, where the local people worshiping Mitsumine's god used to live, founded at the other side of the Trii gate of Mitsumine shrine. Almost visitors won't find it, I guess.
