原爆で破壊されたのち再建された今の大聖堂
中は荘厳で美しかったですが、壁に、被爆したマリア像の首が展示されていて、そのお顔の恐ろしさに衝撃的でした

The Immaculate Conception Cathedral is also called St. Mary's Cathedral or Urakami Tenshudo(Cathedral), located near Nagasaki Peace park in Nagasaki city, is a Roman Catholic cathedral. After destroyed completely by the atomic bomb that fell on Nagasaki on August 9, 1945, finally rebuilt in 1959. In 1980 the cathedral was remodeled using red brick tiles to more closely resemble the original French style.
