Okunoshima Island (Rabbit Island), Takehara-shi, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan 「うさぎ島」で有名な広島県の「大久野島」へようやく訪問できました！ 500～600羽はいるというウサギ 確かにうさぎはかわいいのですが、 個人的には「戦争遺産島」としての大久野島にどちらかというと興味がありました 横須賀の猿島や和歌山の友ヶ島同様、戦時下では軍事利用され 危険な毒ガス製造工場があったため地図から消された島 そんな悲劇の島に想い馳せながら、島を自転車で回りました しかし、ホント、島中からわらわらとうさぎが出没してびっくりしました Photo on Nov 29th 2023 Ohkunoshima island is well-known as the Rabbit island living more than 500 rabbits in the island. On the other hand, this island is also famous as one of the military-used island that used to be built a secret chemical weapons factory and a military fort by the end of World War II. Kousanji Temple, Ikuchijima Island in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan これが、あの「未来心の丘（みらいしんのおか」が建つ「耕三寺（こうさんじ）」 あの大理石のモニュメントがあるとは思えない、絢爛豪華な浄土真宗のお寺です 耕三さんという住職が、母の菩提を弔うために建てたお寺だとか 昭和10年頃ということなので比較的新しいお寺です ちょうど紅葉も見ごろで、お寺の装飾も美しく、巨大観音様や洞穴めぐりまであって、いろいろと楽しめましたよ！ Photo on Nov 29th 2023 Kosanji Temple is a temple belonging to the Honganji Sect of the Jodo Shinshu School of Pure Land Buddhism, founded in 1936 by the industrialist Kozo Kosanji, an early twentieth century pioneer in French-style welding techniques who resided in Osaka, as a family temple that he built in dedication to his late mother. Miraishin-no-Oka (The Hill of Hope) , which I posted just before, is built on the hill of Kosanji Temple. Miraishin no Oka (The Hill of Hope), Ikuchijima Island in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan ずっと訪れてみたかった、瀬戸内海に浮かぶ、 広島県生口島（いくちじま）で最近話題の「未来心の丘（みらいしんのおか」 正確には、耕三寺（こうぞうじ）というお寺の境内の一角、 一番高い丘の上に建てられた現代アーティストによる大理石アートです 全部イタリアから石を運んだそうですよ それにしても、この景観、日本じゃないみたいですよね！ てっぺんから見下ろす瀬戸内海の眺望も良き 実はお隣にみかん畑があるのも、瀬戸内海って雰囲気で良かった しかし、観光客が多くて、人がいなくなるのに随分時間かかりました～ Photo on Nov 29th 2023 Miraishin-no-Oka (The Hill of Hope) is a white marble art work like a monument, located on the hill of Kozoji temple in Ikuchijima island, Onomichi city, Hiroshima prefecture, facing into the Setouchi sea. Okeiko Japan in Tokujyu-ji temple, Miyajima island, Hiroshima prefecture, Japan 厳島神社のある宮島 そのまちの一角にある創建300年の古刹「徳寿寺」では、 住職が亡くなって以来、「オケイコ・ジャパン okeiko Japan」さんが本堂を有効活用して、伝統文化を伝える体験教室を開催しています で、美しく紅葉した寺の中で「お守り作り」を体験してきました 文字通り、世界に一つだけの自分だけの御守です！（ご利益は商売繁盛にしました！） オケイコ・ジャパンさんでは「宮島チョコレート」も作ってるそうですよ Photo on Nov 27th 2023 Tokuju-ji temple, where is located in Miyajima island near Itsukushima Shrine, is a old temple for 300 years more in practice. Now it's been used like a school for workshop making Japanese traditional items by 'okeiko-japan' company since the head priest at that temple passed away. We joined a workshp like making 'Omamori' lucky Charm (Amulet). We can literally make the only my Omamori in the world. It's a great experience.　Okeikojapan also produces gift box of Miyajima chocorate.
