Ezo-Risu (Hokkaido Squirrel or Sciurus vulgaris orientis ) is one of the endemic animals in Hokkaido ('Ezo' means Hokkaido in the old dialect). He (she?) was expecting to wait for feeding something in front of us, but he would run away as soon as he found out that we didn't give anything. He is very funny and lovely.⁠
