長崎には何度も来たことがあるのに、
一度も訪れたことのなかった長崎平和記念公園

日本人として、
また核の脅威にさらされているウクライナ危機にある今だからこそ
世界平和を祈っておかなければと訪れました

ものすごく厳粛な気持ちでお参りしました

その一方で、この像の顔が、片岡愛之助さんに見えて仕方ありませんでした

This is Nagasaki Peace Park that pray for world peace and the souls of the atomic bomb victims, located on a low hill to the north of the hypocenter of the atomic bomb blast in WW. According to the guidebook, the raised right hand of the statue points to the heavens to signify the threat of atomic weapons while the left arm is raised horizontally to represent the wish for peace. Actually I've never seen before that. So ⁠I thought that I have to visit as a Japanse now and I'd like to pray the world peace at a moment of Russia-Ukraine atomic war crisis.
