施釉磁器モザイクタイル発祥の地にして、全国一の生産量を誇る多治見市ならではのモザイクタイル美術館

この、何とも言えない独特の形に惹かれて、ずっと見てみたかったんですよねぇ

あいにく、閉館間際に訪れたので中には入りませんでしたが、外観だけなら無料です
目の前の広場にもモザイクタイルでできたかわいいベンチがありました

しかし、意外なほど住宅地の中にひっそり立っていたので、結構衝撃的でした…
（てっきり高原か人里離れたところかと思ってた…）

The city of Tajimi is one of the most famous for its pottery industry in Japan, and one of its towns called'Kasahara' boasts the largest production volume of mosaic tiles in Japan.

The Mosaic Tile Museum showcases the Kasahara-town's specialty in an unique building designed by world-acclaimed architect Terunobu Fujimori.

When I visited, it was about time to close the business. So I just took a photo outside of it.
