「虹の苔寺」として知られる京の古刹

昭和の庭造り名人が作った池泉式枯山水庭園「波心庭」と丸窓や月窓の茶亭が美しい寺です

知る人ぞ知るこじんまりとした風情あるお寺で
朝イチだったのもありますが、人がほとんどいなくてのんびりできました

3月末まで生花アーティスト・當間ローズ展が開催されていて
庭の景色と座敷と調和していて芸術的でした

Kohmyo-in is an unknown old and small temple, located 3km southeast away from the Kyoto station, Higashiyama ward, Kyoto. It's called "a moss temple of rainbow" because of beautiful moss garden created by the Masterof the Japanese garden.

It's just hold the exhibition of Ikebana(floral arrangement) art by the artist Toma Rose inside. The harmony of the Ikebana, garden and Japanese-style room looks so nice.
