日本画の大家で知られる東山魁夷氏の作品『緑響く』のモチーフでかつ、シャープのCMに起用されたことで一躍有名になった、知る人ぞ知るため池ですね
秋の紅葉シーズン、「緑響く」の絵画の如く池のほとりに鹿が現れたというニュースを聞いて、思わずやってきてしまいました！
が、やっぱりそううまい具合に鹿は現れてくれませんでしたが、
池を後にして、しばらくして、蓼科の別荘エリアでたくさん鹿に遭遇しました…苦笑

Mishakaike Pond is a reservoir for the use of agriculture, located near Okutateshina hot spring village, Chino city, Nagano pref, Japan. It is well-known as the motif of the famous painting named 'Midori-hibiku' by the greatest Japanese-style painter Higashiyama Kaii. Otherwise, it's also well-known as the location for the TV advertisement of the display 'AQUOS' by SHARP as it used to be. In fall, it's a best time to see the fall foliage and clear reflection of it. I had heard by a news that a couple of deer come over pondside like a painting ' Midori-hibiku' by Mr. Higashiyama. Unfortunately I couldn't see that same thing, but I saw a lot of deer near the pond in the forest of the cottage area.
