京都伏見区深草の山中にたたずむ
知る人ぞ知る「大岩神社」

竹林や草木生い茂る山中に、
不気味な沼の前にひっそりたたずむ石彫刻の門は
魔界への門かと思うような異様なたたずまいです

しかし、実は京都を代表する日本画家・堂本印象氏の彫刻だそう

2枚目は、山を登った本堂の裏手にあった裏門
「小岩神社」と書かれていました

大岩が男神、小岩が女神を示すのだそうです
そして、胸の煩いや心の病にご利益があるのだとか

不気味な中にも神秘的なたたずまいを見せる神社でした

Ohiwa Shrine is situated In the middle of nowhere, Fushimi ward, Kyoto prefecture, Japan. This is actually an unknown, old and deserted shrine. There is a carving stone gate created by a male Japanese sculptor named DOMOTO Insho from Kyoto. It's like his art work but I think it looks like the door to the hell.

Local are worshiped the god of Ohiwa shrine brings you good luck for chest sickness or mental destruction.
