北海道斜里地方の清里町には、初夏ならではの風物詩「サクラマスの滝登り」が鑑賞できるスポットがあります
それが、「さくらの滝」
毎年6月上旬から8月下旬にかけて、3000匹を超えるサクラマスが産卵のため川を遡上しようとこの滝をジャンプする姿が観察できます
展望台から結構近くて迫力満点！
はたから見ても無茶だろうと思うような高さの滝を
何度も何度もトライする、ひたむきでめげない姿は感動すら覚えます
一説によると、成功するサクラマスは1割程度の狭き門だそう
何か、これを見ると「自分も頑張ろう！」という気になれます
4枚目はこの近くにあるとても素朴でおしゃれな農家のカフェ「ファーマーズキッチンTOKO-TOKO」のランチメニューの一つ
自社の農園で獲れる野菜や地元食材、手作りにこだわった逸品ぞろいで、すごく新鮮で味も美味しかったです！
何より、農家であるオーナーのお人柄がとても好感度高かったです！

Sakura-no-taki waterfall (Sakura Falls) is well-known as the superb spot to see cherry salmon jumping over the waterfall in summer, like between the mid of June and late August. According to the tourism association of Kiyosato, about 10% out of 3000 cherry salmon swimming back upstream to lay their eggs. There is the small observatory , so we can see their dynamic and exciting jumping close to the falls.
On 4th photo, it's a farmer's cafe named 'Farmers Kitchen Toko-Toko', which is used all the vegitable from their own plantation. We had a good lunch here So they are so fresh and tastes so nice. The most interesting thing is that the owner is very kind and gentleman. This is worthy having a lunch!
