念願だった京都・城南宮の春の風物詩

しだれ梅の散り絨毯と落ち椿が織りなす
雅な絵巻物の世界を見てくることができました！

今年は梅の開花も遅れて、
また寒暖差があったおかげで長く鑑賞できたようです

梅まつりが3月22日までで恐ろしい人出だったそうです
訪れた24日は嘘のように人も少なめでゆっくり贅沢に見学できました

ホント眼福でした

Jonan-gu is one of the most famous shrines with the Japanese-style garden for more than 150 weeping plums and numerous varieties of camellias in full bloom in spring, located in the southern Kyoto. Jonan-gu is used to be the villa of the retired Emperor Shirakawa in Heian period like 1200 years ago.
I could catch up the peak of its carpet of weeping plums with dropping camelias. It's super amazing like a Japanese illustrated handscroll called "Emaki-mono".
