Road To Heaven, Shari town, Shiretoko region, Hokkaido, Japan

北海道斜里町の道は、割とどこもまっすぐでいて、果てしないように見えるで迷うんですが、

でもやっぱりここ「天に続く道」と銘打たれた国道244号から334号につながる全長約28.1kmの道路は別格の長さ

1年に2度、春分の日と秋分の日だけ、道の彼方に夕日が沈むそうです

3枚目は過去、秋に撮ったものですが、秋分の日に近い日でした

A 28-kilometer stretch of road dubbed the "Road to Heaven" (Ten ni Tsuzuku Michi) in the town of Shari, Hokkaido. Actually there are a lot of long streach of roads in Shari, but Road to Heaven is the longest road like reachable horizon. In addition, the sun will appear to go down just at the tip of the road twice a year like in mid-to-late September and April. It's so amazing view!

There is the observation deck in front of the road and a parking space for tourists who go to see it

On 3rd photo, I took the sunset in October evening 3 years ago. So beautiful.
