「大蛇嵓（だいじゃぐら）」のある東大台を巡った翌日、
今度は許可制の「西大台」にチャレンジしました！

通常は事前予約制ですが、空きがあれば当日も受付可能
なので、物産館で入場料1000円を払って受付を済ませ、ビジターセンターへ移動して、順守すべきルールのレクチャーを受けて晴れて入場

西大台には手つかずの原生林と苔むす森が残っているので実に神秘的！
苔好きには必見です

Nishi(west)-Ohdai is designated the Japan's first Regulated Utilization Area in Nishiodai, a part of Odaigahara in Yoshino-Kumano National Park, for conserving primeval natural sites, scenic landscapes and biodiversity, located on the other side of Higashi(east)-Ohdai. So it's made an entry permit and guidance before trekking obligatory.

There are a pristine forest and beautiful mossy land.

The 5th photo is a giant pampkin-like Quercus crispula tree.
The 6th photo is Daija-gura cliff, where I've just clilmbed up on the day before, looking up from the outlook in Nishi-Ohdai.
