言わずと知れた、
明智平ロープウェイ展望台から一望する日光華厳の滝、とその上が中禅寺湖、お隣は白雲滝です！
日光がちょうど見頃とニュースで見て、はせ参じました！
朝は晴れていたのですが、
午後から雲が出てきて中禅寺湖と男体山が霞んでしまいましたが、
紅葉はまさにピーク、さすが日本屈指の紅葉スポットだと改めて息を呑みました
平日というのに、これを見るために車で1時間半、ロープウェイで30分、合計2時間待ちました…おそるべし、このシーズンの日光…汗

Kegon-no-taki waterfall with 100m long is one of the most famous and the Japan's 3 most beautiful falls, located in Nikko city, Tochi prefecture, Japan, viewing from Akechi-daira Ropeway observatory. You can see Lake Chu-zenjiko above the Kegon falls and Haku-un-taki waterfall next to the Kegon falls surounded by the gorgeous fall foliage.
The latter half of October is the best time to see the peak of its fall foliage in most years, however it gave or took about a week compared to the usual year.
Akechi-daira Ropeway Observatory is the best place to overlook the Kegon falls, but it was too crowded to wait for parking my car for 1 and half hours and more taking a ropeway for 30 mins. It's kind of crazy.
Anyway I highly recommend to see Nikko Chu-zenjiko Lake if you're interested in Japan's breathtaking fall foliage.
