「免の石（招き猫洞窟）」へのトレッキングルートで見かけた景色

そして3枚目は、熊本地震で崩落した「免の石」です
崩落する前までは「落ちない石」として信じられていたのですが
崩落以後、今度は「何かに”落ちたくない”人たちの身代わり」になった「身代わり石」として親しまれているそうです
タテ3m、横幅2m、石回り約6mと想像以上にデカかったです

During the Men-no-ishi trekking, I saw a lot of beautiful nature in the mountain. In 1st photo, there is a huge maple tree living for over 200 years. In 2nd photo, it's a panoramic view of Aso Gogaku mountains from the obsavatory near the welcoming cat-cave. In 3rd photo, that's "Men-no-ishi stone" as I said that its stone used to place on the cave above, which collapesed by Kumamoto earthquake in 2017, sized about 3 meters tall and 2 meters wide. The stone used to be worshiped kind of a god for good luck because people had believed that it would have never fallen. After the collapse of Men-no-ishi, people still believe that the stone sacrificed itself for people.
